The Someday Workshops are opportunities for young people and adults to upskill together and to engage with The Outlook for Someday as a vehicle for sustainability film-making.
The workshops are generally open to young people from school years 7 to 13 (age 11 to 18) as well as teachers and youth workers.
40 free one-day and two-day workshops took place throughout New Zealand from June to September 2016.
Workshop participants made short films and screened them at the end of the day.
They also came away with story ideas in development - ones that were meaningful to them and which they could then turn into films as entries to the Someday Challenge.
We are now planning the 2017 Someday Workshops...
